Amira Elghawaby talks at CLC Convention
The CLC is happy to announce that accomplished journalist and human rights activist Amira Elghawaby will be speaking as part of the Equity for a Fair Future panel at the CLC Convention 2017 on May 9th.
An outspoken advocate for human rights, Amira has been the Communications Director for the National Council of Canadian Muslims since 2015.
Amira aims to break down barriers faced by Muslim workers by tackling subjects like islamophobia, discrimination, stereotypes, religious accommodation and inclusion, to name just a few. She will also discuss rights in the workplace and what that means for Muslim workers.
