Nobel Peace Prize nominee Sheila Watt-Cloutier to speak at CLC Convention
The CLC is excited to announce that Sheila Watt-Cloutier will be speaking at Convention 2017.
Watt-Cloutier – a Nobel Peace Prize nominee in 2007 for her advocacy work on the link between global climate change and human rights – is outspoken on the connection between the environment, the economy, foreign policy, global health, and sustainability.
Watt-Cloutier is an Officer of the Order of Canada, recipient of the Aboriginal Achievement Award, the UN Champion of the Earth Award, the Norwegian Sophie Prize and the Right Livelihood Award.
She will be speaking as part of the Green Jobs for a #FairFuture panel on Wednesday, May 10, at 2:00 pm.
